Job Summary
We are a growing law firm seeking a detailed, motivated, and hard-working self-starting attorney to join our North Dakota office. As a Marketing/Staff Attorney, you will play a crucial role in both our legal and marketing efforts, helping to expand our client base and enhance our firm's brand awareness.

Responsibilities 
  • Client Relationship Development: Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, educating them on our firm's services and value.
  • Client Education: Guide clients through estate planning options, including wills, trusts, and advanced planning strategies, ensuring they understand their choices and implications.
  • Estate Plan Review & Updates: Regularly review and update estate plans to align with changes in clients’ circumstances, goals, and current best practices for estate and tax planning strategies.
  • Asset Titling & Allocation: Assist clients in properly titling and structuring assets to implement their estate plans effectively and in a tax-efficient manner.
  • Trust & Probate Administration: Provide legal guidance on trust administration and probate processes following a client’s passing.
  •  Professional Collaboration: Work closely with financial advisors, insurance professionals, accountants, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive estate planning.
  • Marketing & Business Development: Enhance the firm’s brand presence through networking, speaking engagements, and other marketing efforts.
  • Team Collaboration & Compliance: Work alongside paralegals, legal assistants, and firm leadership to maintain adherence to firm policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Dakota and/or Montana.
  • Willingness to travel statewide for client meetings.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, compassionate guidance in high-stress or emotional situations.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passion for estate planning and helping clients achieve their goals.
  • Experience in estate and business planning law is preferred but not required - willing to train the right candidate.
